Taking giant strides in the music and fashion sphere – J Carlie.
This Los Angeles inhabitant has excelled in both field, by churning out fantastic music as well as working with some of the biggest fashion brands globally.
J Carlie as he is popularly known is amongst those who has mastered the art of having a strong grip over dual careers, one as a music artist and the other as a fashion professional. Though it might sound like a difficult task to manage careers which come under completely different genres, he has been successfully taking giant strides in achieving excellence in both. His compositions have struck the right chords with the audiences and his fashion career is also going great guns owing to his creative streak that has grabbed fashion industry’s attention big time. According to him, both the careers demand a great deal of creativity, which he feels is imbibed within him since the beginning when he thought of delving into these spaces.
Music he says has always enchanted him since the time he remembers as he grew up listening to his favorite artists, following them and trying to learn something better each day about the craft. With time, he honed his skills, which eventually brought him the much-needed attention when he initially showcased his talent in front of the world. At 25, when most are in the process of settling down in their careers, he has already made it big as a music artist, having given a few hits at the start of this career, which was quite impressive. Speaking about his journey since his young days, J Carlie says, “at 10, I was learning musical instruments like guitar, bass and drum, learning the nitty-gritty’s of the music space by observing it closely. At 14, I was designing my own music crafts in the Screamo band Robot Circus which gained a lot of attention.”
His music started gaining traction with him getting popular amongst punk rock bands for which he also designed some music pieces. What followed were a series of work which enthralled the audiences every bit, that finally got him to the center stage. At 15, he started producing and at 17 he had finally arrived, pursuing his career full time as a music artist. His most recent release with Paper Lovee called “Maybe we are” has impressed millions of fans worldwide which has got him into collaborations with popular artists like Lil Gotit, Lil Xan and Souljaboy. At present, he has joined hands with multiple Grammy nominated producers and artists to bring out music that will grip over the audiences big time.
